Reflecting on an Existing Situation With Your Reflective Essay
Reflecting on an Existing Situation With Your Reflective EssayReading a reflection essay may seem like the simplest and most obvious method for improving your GPA. But it can help you get ready for an exam or your next paper. It may also make your overall grade easier to manage.A reflective essay is about using the essay form as a way to reflect on a specific experience, question, event, or even a situation. The essay is a fun, creative, and thoughtful way to learn and share ideas. It is not a place to spew out a bunch of factoids that have been regurgitated for your benefit. It is not a place to play the games of memorization. It is a place to put your thoughts into words in a way that is interactive, interesting, and memorable.Intro exercises will make you think about what you are going to write. Ask yourself questions and really think about how you would answer them if you were writing an essay. This will keep you sharp and informed about things and create fresh content for your e ssay. Also, ask yourself questions about the essay's topic. You might find that you would not be as excited about writing about the same topic as you would about writing about something totally different. There are many different tools you can use in order to compose a reflection essay. What you choose depends upon the needs of your project. Your essay needs to be memorable enough to make it into a gradebook. You may want to include illustrations or photographs in order to add more color to your work. You may want to create a graphical component to your essay, such as graphs or maps.I prefer to use my imagination when composing an essay. Just because I am writing about something that happened to me does not mean that I cannot be creative about the topic. I find that pictures can be a powerful tool in illustrating important ideas. A good example of this is an essay about physical fitness.Physical fitness is about more than just having a six pack or having a healthy skin. It is about m ental and emotional health as well. I like to illustrate this with the analogy of a horse. We all know horses can be great joggers, but they are also capable of being tied down to a rail for hours on end. What this means is that a horse is not always the fastest runner, but it can be just as good at being chained to a post. This makes the horse a great choice for physical fitness.Once you begin to draw up your reflections, begin to talk to a local physical trainer or read up on a topic that interests you. Some examples of topics you could research are movies, film making, sports, computers, fashion, or other topics that interest you. Take notes during your conversations. In addition to taking notes about the ideas that you have, use this time to write down other details such as what types of food you are eating, the type of exercise you are doing, or any other facts you may have learned during your conversation. This may sound strange, but it helps you remember the ideas and facts t hat you are talking about and build their importance into your essay. As you prepare for your reflection essay, think about what your assignment is. Then, you can use your imagination and research skills to create something that will impress your teacher.
